Walks in Warsaw; each day is more grey than the previous one.
For some reason I was shocked at how big Warsaw is. Skyscrapers, wide streets, lots of traffic. People standing on the streets, sucking on their cigarettes and vapes. The river Wisła, which is HUGE! I walked and walked and walked, and then I went to cafés and sat for hours, slowly drinking tea, eating sweets. Resting my legs between the walking and dancing. At one place they had these wonderful, gluten-y vegan buns with chocolate, and I ate it slowly and let the tea go cold and doodled, edited photos and traced the Wisła on Google maps. Stared straight ahead and let the Polish spoken all around wash over me, resting in the nonsense it makes to me.
Warsaw is a little too big and intense for me, but now at least I can say that I’ve been here.
