HOLY TREE IN HELSINKI

I found a new favourite tree in Helsinki.

Having important people in your life is …important.
Having important trees is crucial.

This old guy held me as I arrived with my over-packed bicycle and my tired soul (having slept barely two hours as I departed early from Tallinn, on top of that filled with separation-sadness.)

I took my shoes off and chilled, had my breakfast and danced for some good two-three hours all on this trunk. Geese were grazing with their young all around me, but they didn’t seem to mind the afro beats and the weird monkey. A kid played for a while in the tree with his father watching carefully, but otherwise I was left to myself.

I breathed with the tree, letting go of my sad mood – being in Helsinki was suddenly not so bad.
