I am a multicultural hybrid, a trickster, a knot.
I am a dancer and an artist and a writer.
I am a lifelong student.

12.12.2022 was my last day at work. A week later I had stuffed my stuff into a storage, given my keys to a tenant and boarded the ferry. I had only a vague plan, something in Mozambique and Europe and then returning some time in May.
…
I loved the vague plan so much and the vague plan loved me back, so we stayed together. Returning later than I planned, I worked a little and then set out again, this time completely plan-less and aimless but more than ever firmly feeling that this, right now, is the life that I want to live.
I dance, I write and I make art. I nestle myself into lives and ask for life to bring me teachings; it always does. I grow. I think of myself as a trickster wielding shyness, confusion, curiosity and love, the tangles I’m leaving in my wake external as well as internal. Here, I claim space for my writing.

One last thing, for clarity:
Some of the things I do are stupid, dangerous, illegal or any combination of these. I am of the opinion that (many of) our current systems by which we organize our societies are cruel and destructive to people, other creatures and the planet, and that these systems should be challenged and broken with unyielding love and determination. This way of living is my way of challenging and pushing back.
I do not make everything about my choices explicit in my writing and I have many ways and strategies to ensure my safety to the best of my ability. I do not want to inspire anybody to put themselves or others at risk, and I want to encourage anybody pursuing a similar lifestyle to do everything in their power to keep safe.
The world might be insane but I am its apple, with no other place to land than close.
